09/08/2016: Updated broken KBOR link.

03/04/2015: Updated contact information to help accurately direct questions.

12/17/2014: Fixed broken link to Board of Regents Policy Manual; due to Board of Regents' website updates, the link goes to the beginning of the section on Appointments (II.C.2); the specific section regarding Spoken English Language Competency is II.C.2.b.iii, near the middle of the page.

10/17/2014: Policy formatting cleanup (e.g., bolding, spacing).

08/25/2014: Updated to provide a direct link to the specific Spoken English Language Competency section in the Board of Regents manual, instead of just the first page of the entire Board of Regents Policy Manual. Also added language to the Policy Statement section to differentiate between the Board of Regents policy requiring the assessment, and the policy describing KU's implementation of that requirement, with links to both.

05/21/2014: Technical edits, updates for accuracy.

01/14/2014: Replaced outdated Policy Statement text, which was pasted verbatim from an outdated version of the Kansas Board of Regents Policy Manual, with a link to the updated Spoken English Language Competency policy within the most recent version of the manual (revised 12/18/13).

03/27/2009: Reviewed and updated links to Related Documents.
