KU Edwards Scholarships

Policy
Purpose:

This policy describes the eligibility requirements for scholarships available exclusively for KU Edwards Campus students.

Applies to:

Prospective students applying to an Edwards Campus undergraduate or graduate academic program.

Campus:
Edwards
Policy Statement:
  1. Prospective students who have applied for admission to an Edwards Campus undergraduate or graduate academic program and submitted their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)* by the following deadlines will be automatically reviewed for eligibility to receive KUEC Scholarships:
  1. Summer and fall admits must apply for admission by February 1 and submit their FAFSA* by March 1.
  1. Spring admits must apply for admission by November 1 and submit their FAFSA* by December 1.

*Non-FAFSA eligible individuals such as international students, students progressing toward U.S. permanent residency, or DACA students are eligible to apply by submitting the results of the EFC Calculator from the Big Future College Board website instead of the FAFSA to the KUEC Scholarship Committee Chair.

  1. There are two KUEC Scholarships: (A) the Edwards Campus Scholarship; (B) the Johnson County Education Research Triangle (JCERT) Scholarship. These are one-time awards evenly distributed over two semesters. Students can receive only one KUEC scholarship—these two scholarships can not be stacked. Preference will be given to students with financial need.

  • Enroll in at least one Edwards Campus course each awarded semester
  1. JCERT Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:
