Policy
Purpose: 

The faculty of each school and the College will approve courses for credit and make regulations regarding addition, alteration, and deletion of courses.

Applies to: 

The policy applies to students, schools, departments, and administrative offices.

Policy Statement: 

The faculty of each school and the College will approve courses for credit and make regulations regarding addition, alteration, and deletion of courses.

All new courses will be reported to the Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and the deans of the undergraduate schools and the College. The dean of a school or the College will inform a departmental chairperson if any proposed new courses duplicate those already taught in that department.

Enrollment procedures including: course changes, late enrollments, withdrawal from courses, and repetition of courses will be determined by the faculties of the College and the schools.
