Undergraduate Admission Records Retention Policy: Office of Admissions and Scholarships

Policy
Purpose: 

To determine how long to keep admission records.

Applies to: 

Admission and Scholarship Staff

Campus: 
Lawrence
Policy Statement: 

Admission application records will be retained by the following schedule and then purged and destroyed.

 

Applicants that did not enroll for the term applied for will be retained for 1 year from the beginning of that term.

 

Applicants that did enroll for the term applied for will be retained for 10 years from the beginning of the first term of enrollment.

 

Applicants that were denied admission for the term applied for will be retained for 5 years from the beginning of that term.
