The Yellow Ribbon Program
To describe the tuition and fee benefits available to veterans of the United States armed services, reserve officer training corps (ROTC) program participants, and active duty members of the military according to the conditions of the Yellow Ribbon Program.

The Yellow Ribbon program is a tuition grant program for certain military service members. Eligibility criteria and additional information can be found on the Veteran's Administration website.
Tuition and course fees are paid under the conditions of the Yellow Ribbon program. Required student and wellness fees and charges related to housing, optional fees, late fees, and any additional charges are not eligible under the conditions of this program.
The University of Kansas will provide contributions as long as the University of Kansas continues to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress, conduct, attendance, and have eligibility remaining in the program. Yellow Ribbon recipients must remain continuously enrolled (not including summer terms) at the University of Kansas or they will be required to reapply for the Yellow Ribbon program upon their return.
The number of Yellow Ribbon participants is unlimited. The number of participants is based on approval by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and is subject to change annually. The funds received from the Yellow Ribbon program cannot exceed the total tuition and required student and wellness fees assessed.
