Policy Statement:

Effective Summer 2015 Freshmen and Transfer Undergraduate Applicants:

  • If a student is on a KU-based scholarship and does not meet a stated admission requirement, the student shall be assured admission to the University of Kansas.
  • Admission is only assured to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS), but professional schools may admit students directly at their own discretion.
  • Domestic students who do not meet minimum KU and KBOR admission standards must be admitted into the exceptions window, and must therefore complete an Individual Plan for Student Success (IPSS) as required by state statute.
