Obtaining the KU Card

Procedure
Purpose: 

To provide instructions to obtain the KU Card, which is the official University of Kansas identification card.

Applies to: 

Students, Faculty, Staff, and other members of the KU community on the Lawrence campus and its reporting units.

Policy Statement: 

To obtain a KU Card for the first time, all students, faculty, staff, and affiliates who fall within the KU Card Terms and Conditions must use the KU Card Web Card Center to upload a photo and identification. Further information and instructions can be found on the KU Card Center webpage.

The Edwards Campus is set up to take your photo for the KU Card, if necessary. Contact the Edwards Campus at 913-897-8429 for more information.
